Fleas are not required to bite the animal to receive a lethal dose Its topical formula works when wet, locks into the lipid (or fat) layer of the skin and remains effective for 28 days. Advantage is water resistant within 24 hours of application Safe for Use on Kittens From 2 Weeks of Age, and is also safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals.
