Coopex Residual Insecticide

Coopex is a water dispersible powder that can be used as an insecticide spray for the control and management of insects around you home. Coopex controls a wide range of insects and the residue from spraying will protect for up to 4 months.

Which insects is Coopex effective on?

Coopex has been proven to kill and control ants, bedbugs, carpet beetles, clothes moths, cockroaches, fleas, spiders, silverfish, house flies, mosquitoes, biting flies and paralysis ticks.

How do I target the insects I want to manage?

Coopex should only ever be mixed according to the instructions on the packet and applied at the following points –

·         Ants – at the nest site, on walls, in drains and places where ants are seen

·         Bedbugs – in cracks and crevices in floors and walls, bed frames and on mattresses

·         Cockroaches – walls, cupboards, skirting boards, behind the sink paying special attention to cracks and crevices

·         Fleas – along skirting boards, floors, carpets, kennels

·         Spiders – where they are seen and in known hiding places

·         Flies – on all exposed surfaces where flies may rest

·         Paralysis ticks – in vegetated areas where ticks are found

Coopex is less hazardous than other commercially available residual insecticides and uses the active ingredient permethrin. Coopex is clean, odourless, non-irritating and non-staining and is not absorbed into porous surfaces. Coopex is highly effective on insects and has low mammalian toxicity.

All food, food preparation areas, animal bowls, fish tanks and terrariums should be removed or covered securely before spraying areas where these are kept. Coopex is not intended to be sprayed on pets and is a surface spray only.
