Interceptor For Dogs

We get it. Worms are gross, and they are something you don’t really want to talk about but talk about them we must! If you own a dog, it is important for their health and wellbeing that you keep them worm free. Worms do not only make your dog uncomfortable, they can lead to serious health issues as well, and worms can be passed on to people in your home too.

Which worms does Interceptor Spectrum protect against?

The most common worms that dogs encounter are hookworm, roundworm, tapeworm, whipworm and heartworm.

How does my dog get worms?

Different worms are contracted in different ways. Hookworm and whipworm are picked up from coming into contact with soil or faeces of infected dogs, while tapeworm and deadly heart worm are contracted from mosquito bites so even dogs who live most of their lives inside can still be at risk of worm infestation.

Ok, so how do I administer Interceptor Spectrum?

Your dog is going to love the real meat flavoured chew and Interceptor for dogs is safe to use in puppies from as young as 2 weeks of age and is safe for pregnant and breeding males and females.

When Should I start treating my dog with Interceptor Spectrum?

Interceptor Spectrum can be started at any time of year, as long as your vet has confirmed that your dog is free of heartworm. Interceptor Spectrum should then be administered every month, as close to the same time of month as possible for the ongoing prevention of gastrointestinal worms in dogs.

Available in both 3 month and 6 month protection packs, Interceptor Spectrum is available in the following weight ranges: 0-4kg, 4-11kg, 11-22kg and 22-45kg,
